Atlético Madrid's pursuit of the league title continues with a short trip outside the capital to face 18th placed Getafe.
Getafe vs. Atlético Madrid: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online
Atlético Madrid need three points to maintain their advantage at the top of the table over Real Madrid.
Los Colchoneros hold their fate in their hands with just six matches left in the season, including Sunday's game. If Atléti can win out, they will claim their first league title since 1991. Atléti are fresh off a Champions League triumph over Barcelona that saw Diego Simeone's team qualify for the semifinals, and a date with Chelsea. Before that though, a winnable match against Getafe.
Diego Costa and Arda Turan, both of whom missed the Barcelona match, remain doubtful for Sunday. Simeone will likely elect to hold them both back to allow them more time to heal, hoping his roster is capable of dealing with Getafe without them.
Getafe have lost two of their last three matches, but could lift themselves out of the relegation zone with a surprise victory over Atléti.
