Wolves fans storm the pitch four times

Everyone to the pitch. We’re going streaking.

Michael Regan

What do you do when your team scores six goals? Storm the pitch.

What do you do to celebrate a hat trick? Storm the pitch.

What do you do when your team is promoted? Storm the pitch.

Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Rotherdam 6-4 on Friday, largely due to a Nouha Dicko hat trick, and are being promoted to the Championship. So they stormed the field three times during the match (one was a mistake because the ball hadn’t actually gone in the net, but whatever), and then once more after the final whistle.

FOUR PITCH INVASIONS.

And this came with more than 30,000 fans in attendance at the expanded Molineaux Stadium.

After the match, Wolves condemned the fans’ repeated pitch invasions and apologized to Rotherdam, which is all well and good.

Wolves are going to the Championship and no invasions, condemnation or threats can change that. Now storm the pitch again.
