Meet Robbie Russell. He’s a veteran MLS defender who finally decided to hang up his boots last season. He was an intelligent player and always well-spoken, so he’s decided to get into television. Well ... let’s hope that he can move past this, because it’s painful to listen to.

I’m genuinely hoping that someone screwed up the teleprompter or messed up Russell’s notes for him. He sounds like he was genuinely close to just getting up and quitting mid-segment. But he’s scheduled to work the entire game, so hopefully he recovers.
