Benfica fans light up Lisbon after winning the title

One flare, two flare, three flare, four, I’ll take four thousand flares and as many fireworks.

Holy crap, Lisbon is on fire.

Benfica fans thought the best way to celebrate their team winning the Premeira Liga title was to light the city on fire*. And they were right, because it really is the best way to celebrate.

And somewhere in that mass of humanity and fire are buses carrying the team’s players. But whatever, they won the title and their season is basically over so they don’t need to avoid being maimed anymore.

* They were actually flares that did not damage anything so the city was fine, but seriously look at that because the city is on fire.
