Juan Roman Riquelme: Still the man, still hitting bombs

Old man ball.

Richard Heathcote

Juan Roman Riquelme is 35 years old and has retired approximately eight times. This summer, he will almost certainly announce his retirement again. And we hope it’s another fake retirement, because he’s still hitting bombs like this one, which won Boca Juniors their match against Tigre this weekend.

Riquelme hasn’t appeared for Argentina since 2008, but wouldn’t it be nice to see him get his swan song in Brazil this summer?
