Manchester United vs. Norwich City: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Ryan Giggs era begins for United as they face a Norwich City team in desperate need of points to avoid relegation.

Alex Livesey

Everyone, welcome to the Ryan Giggs era! He's the new interim coach of Manchester United. With David Moyes being shown the door earlier in the week, United will finish the year with Giggs as a player/coach while the board works to find a full time boss.

It’s possible that Giggs will make wholesale changes to the lineup, or he could stick with what Moyes was sending out and count on the players to react positively to their now in charge teammate. If the players step-up, they still have an outside shot at qualifying for the Europa League, if they get some help in the form of Spurs losing.

Norwich remain just barely above the drop zone, two points clear of Cardiff City in 18th. Despite a spirited effort against Liverpool last weekend, the Canaries lost their fourth straight match as their brutal end of season schedule threatens to knock them out of the Premier League.

Manchester United injuries and suspensions

Out: Robin van Persie (knee), Rafael (thigh). In Doubt: Patrice Evra (knee).

Norwich City injuries and suspensions

Out: Joseph Yobo (calf) In Doubt: Elliott Bennett (knee).

Robin Van Persie remains out with a knee injury. Patrice Evra and Rafael are both doubtful, which means Alexander Büttner and Chris Smalling are likely to start at fullback again for United. Joseph Yobo's calf will keep him out of the match for Norwich.
