Real Madrid vs. Osasuna: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

Real Madrid must balance their dual pursuit of the Champions League and league title as they welcome Osasuna to the Bernabéu.

Fresh off their Champions League semifinal first leg triumph over Bayern Munich, Real Madrid will now turn their attention back to La Liga where they need a win over Osasuna to keep pressure on league leaders Atlético Madrid in the title race.

Madrid are six points behind their city rivals, though they have a game in hand, and will need to win out if they have any hope of catching Atléti, should they slip up. Carlo Ancelotti will have to balance the need for a result with keeping his players fresh ahead of their midweek match against Bayern, so a couple lineup changes are likely.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to play to help him build match fitness after making his return on Wednesday, but Gareth Bale’s flu continues to limit him.

Osasuna are unbeaten in their last four matches, with one win and three draw to their credit. The form has been good enough to allow them to stay above the relegation fray, but just barely so. Gracia's side also as their previous match against Real Madrid -- a 2-2 draw -- to use for confidence.

Real Madrid injuries and suspensions

In doubt: Gareth Bale (illness).

Osasuna injuries and suspensions

Out: Roberto Torres (suspended), Francisco Silva (suspended).

Javi Gracia will have to make two adjustments in the midfield with regular starters Torres and Silva both suspended. Gareth Bale continues to recover from the flu, and his health will determine the extent of his availability.
