Newcastle are really bad at scoring right now. Like one goal in their last eight matches bad.
It's amazing that they can't manage more goals considering they have a relatively creative player in Hatem Ben Arfa. Sure, he's not a superstar who is going to make them a good attacking team all on his own, but he's inventive and the Magpies' best attacking player on a team short of ideas.
Oh wait, he doesn’t get to play?
When you can’t score goals, most people think it’s a good idea to play their best attacking players.
But Ben Arfa has been Pardew'd. And Ben Arfa is sad about it too.
“I want to help my team and I can’t. It hurts a lot.”
You know what also hurts? Having to train with the reserves, which Ben Arfa has been made to do regularly.
