Zenit fan invades pitch, punches Dinamo player
Pitch invasions can get really, really scary.
Zenit St. Petersburg were losing 4-2 to Dinamo Moscow and apparently that was good enough reason for their fans to storm the pitch. Andre Villas-Boas pleaded with them to return to the standards, but when you have fans willing to seek out a player and throw a real punch at him, the protestations of the manager aren’t going to do much.
Thankfully, Vladimir Granat was not hurt by the punch and the referee called the match off .
