Chelsea gets confused and thinks Cardiff City fans are their fans

Chelsea isn’t quite clear on which club they are or what their fans look like.

Chelsea wanted to thank their fans for traveling to Cardiff City on the final day of the season so they took to Facebook, only there was a tiny problem.

Those aren’t Chelsea fans.

In fact there are five scarves held aloft that pretty clearly say “Cardiff City” on them, even in the photo. And then there’s that banner, which talks about the club’s decision to adopt red as its dominant color. At last check, Chelsea still wear blue at home. The banner also reference Vincent Tan, who does not own Chelsea.

Good job, good effort, Chelsea.
