Didier Deschamps released his initial 30-man roster ahead of this summer's World Cup, and while there are plenty of players you'd expect, two names are noticeably absent.

Didier Deschamps’ provisional roster includes several familiar faces, and two notable exclusions.
Harry Engels
Manchester City teammates Gaël Clichy and Samir Nasri did not make the roster, with Nasri's attitude issues apparently led Deschamps to exclude him. Up-and-coming players Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Raphaël Varane will instead get a chance to help France try to improve on their disappointing performance in the 2010 World Cup.
France's attack looks to be strong with the likes of Karim Benzema, Olivier Giroud and Franck Ribéry on the roster, while the back line will be led by goalkeeper, and captain, Hugo Lloris.
