Celtic celebrate league title with adorable young fan

Sports are awesome. People are awesome. Kids are cute.

Jay Beatty is an 11-year-old Celtic fan and on Sunday he also became the luckiest kid at Celtic Park.

When Celtic were celebrating their Scottish Premier League title, Neil Lennon gave the boy his winner’s medal then Georgios Samaras picked him up and carried Beatty around the pitch. He was part of the celebration and had the biggest smile humanly possible.

Beatty has Down syndrome and Celtic first took to the young boy last summer. They brought him along on a bus trip and can you guess who he sat down next to? Yep, Samaras.

And they sang together.

Two thumbs up to Lennon. And Samaras. And Celtic. And Beatty. And everyone.
