FA Cup Final headed to extra time
Hull City got off to a brilliant start, scoring twice off set pieces in the opening eight minutes, and they nearly scored a third not long after Curtis Davies' eighth-minute goal. But Arsenal fired back in the 17th minute, with Santi Cazorla scoring a stunning free kick.
The Gunners dominated most of the second half and finally found an equalizer in the 72nd minute, scored by Laurent Koscielny off a corner. This match has been a clinic in how not to defend set pieces.
Arsenal will feel a bit hard done by, since they could have been granted potentially game-winning penalties on multiple occasions. Referee Lee Probert has waved play-on during four occasions in which an Arsenal player went down in the box and believed they’d earned a spot kick.
