Atlético Madrid suffered a huge setback early in the Champions League final when Diego Costa went down with an injury, but they haven't slowed down a bit since he exited. They've continued to execute their gameplan well, restricting space for Real Madrid, and they've made the most of a rare set piece opportunity to capitalize. Real have unsurprisingly had more of the ball and have restricted Atléti's shots, but the Rojiblancos just needed one chance.
Diego Godin scores off Iker Casillas error
Atlético Madrid lead the Champions League final off this header.

Diego Godin will get credit for the goal -- his shot went over the line before it was pushed back onto another Atléti player's foot -- but the real credit goes to Real goalkeeper Iker Casillas. This was bad.
If Saint Iker stays on his line, he has a simple save. Instead, Real Madrid have to chase the game.
