The Ivory Coast and Bosnia continue their World Cup preparations with a meeting at the Edward James Dome in St. Louis on Friday.

The two nations meet for the first time in a pre-World Cup friendly in St. Louis.


This will be the first trip to a World Cup final for Bosnia after winning Group G in UEFA qualifying. Team captain Emir Spahic told the media that the team was pleased with how they've been training, and they'll need to with a tough group awaiting them in Brazil. Defender Ermin Bicakcic is expected to miss the match with a nagging injury.

The Ivory Coast are hopeful of finally advancing out of the group stages for the first time, after getting a more reasonable draw this time around. This is just the second match in 2014 for the Ivory Coast who pulled off a come from behind 2-2 draw against Belgium in early March.
This is the first time the two nations have met.
