Brazil vs. Croatia, World Cup 2014: How to watch online

Americans have a few options for catching Brazil vs. Croatia without a TV.

Adam Pretty

The 2014 World Cup gets underway on Thursday, with Brazil hosting Croatia in the opening match in Sao Paulo (4 p.m. ET, ESPN). The Brazilians are clear favorites to win the match, Group A and the tournament itself, but they won't be able to coast to an easy victory in their first game.

Croatia have one of the best midfields in the world, with Champions League winner Luka Modric and Sevilla star Ivan Rakitic anchoring the side. However, Brazil do get a bit of a boost by way of a suspension for the Croats. Due to a red card picked up earlier, star striker Mario Mandzukic will not be able to play in this game.

In the United States, you have a few options for watching the game online. If you want to watch in English, ESPN will will have the game on their Watch ESPN service, if you have access through your television or internet provider. ESPN will also have feeds with Portuguese and Korean audio. If you prefer to watch in Spanish -- or just don't get Watch ESPN -- you have options. Univision also offers an online service called Univision En Vivo.

In the U.K., ITV is showing the game on ITV Player. In Canada, CBC Sports is showing the game through their live streaming service. You can check out listings for other countries as well at Live Soccer TV.
