All the way up until the announcement of lineups for their match, there are questions about whether or not Luis Suarez will play for Uruguay against Costa Rica (3 p.m. ET, ABC). The superstar striker had surgery on his left meniscus in May, and he's been in a race against the clock to get fit.
Costa Rica will be hoping he's not able to play. World Cup Golden Ball winner Diego Forlan is four years older and very much on his last legs. Even a gimpy version of Suarez is probably more effective at this point.
For the Ticos, questions center around how they play. Will they go to a back three to match up against two strikers, or will they go to a more traditional 4-5-1?
