It's the World Cup match Americans have been anxiously awaiting, as the United States plays their first match in Brazil against a familiar foe in Ghana (6 p.m. ET, ESPN). These two teams have met in the past two World Cups, and in both cases, Ghana have eliminated the USA.

The United States is aware of the challenge ahead of them in Group G, but they're also confident they have what it takes to overcome the odds. Ghana have experience and speed, though Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng may not start the match for the Black Stars.
