Mexico vs. Croatia: Time and TV schedule for 2014 World Cup

Mexico are in a better position than they thought they'd be in after pulling off an impressive draw against Brazil in their last match. They probably figured that they'd need a win over Croatia to advance to the group stage heading into this World Cup, but their great performance last week means that they only need a draw to see themselves through to the Round of 16.

The Croats will, of course, fell hard done by this situation. They were excellent against Brazil in the tournament's opening match, had some very bad calls go against them and probably deserved a draw of their own. They also laid a beating on Cameroon when Mexico were only able to sneak by the Indomitable Lions.

These two evenly-matched teams will probably play very different styles in their game. Mexico boss Miguel Herrera is likely to stick with his variation of 3-5-2 that features an overloaded left flank and a playmaker as second striker, while Croatia's possession-oriented 4-2-3-1 should provide an interesting test for them. Mexico pulled off a draw against a similarly talented Brazil team playing in the same formation, but Croatia has much better passers in midfield than the Selecao.
