Colombia vs. Japan, 2014 World Cup: TV schedule and kickoff time
Colombia will look to top their group with three wins out of three when they face Japan, who are fighting for survival.
So far Colombia have more or less lived up to the expectations that were placed upon them in Brazil, earning two wins over Greece and the Ivory Coast to secure their progress into the knockout stages.
Only a significant goal swing in favour of the Ivory Coast in their game against Greece and a loss to Japan will prevent Colombia from finishing top of the group, so while they may take the opportunity to rest players, they will still want to make it three wins out of three over Japan.
Match Preview
In contrast, the Samurai Blue have been disappointing and will need to defeat Colombia and hope Greece prevail over the Ivory Coast in order to make it out of their group. Second place could throw up a tie against Costa Rica for the first knockout round, which all of the teams in the group would feel they have a chance of winning.
