Brazil vs. Panama, World Cup friendly 2014: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online
The host nation of this summer’s World Cup is set for the first of their two pre-tournament friendlies against CONCACAF’s Panama.

Luiz Felipe Scolari is not expected to have his complete first choice lineup available for the match. Both defender Thiago Silva and midfielder Paulinho are recovering from minor knocks picked up in training, and neither is executed to play as a precaution. That will likely give Dante and Hernandes a chance to show Scolari that they deserve more consideration for a playing time when the games start counting in less than two weeks.
World Cup
For Panama, this trip to Brazil is a honorable mention, a cruel version of a participation medal. After coming so close to denying Mexico a place in the playoff against New Zealand, Los Canaleros must now accept just a friendly in Brazil, rather than finally participating in the world biggest football tournament.
Hernán Darío Gómez’s team may not have enough firepower to take down Brazil, but they should be able to give them a solid challenge.
