Mexico vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

El Tri are ramping up the quality of opposition en route to the World Cup. They started with Israel, then took on Ecuador, and now face Bosnia and Herzegovina before a final friendly match against Portugal.

Mexico have impressed in their first two warm-up friendlies for the World Cup, but they lost a key player in their most recent one. Luis Montes broke his leg just two minutes after scoring a spectacular goal on Saturday, and he'll miss the World Cup. Mexico will be hoping they don't pick up any more injuries in Tuesday night's match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, a slight step up in competition.

Bosnia and Herzegovina have also played one friendly against a World Cup-bound team in the United States, beating Ivory Coast 2-1 on Friday. However, both teams rested quite a few stars, though Edin Dzeko played and netted a brace. On this occasion, expect Safet Sušić to field his strongest possible team.

Projected Bosnia and Herzegovina team: Asmir Begović; Mensur Mujdža, Muhamed Bešić, Emir Spahić, Sejad Salihović; Zvjezdan Misimović, Haris Medunjanin, Miralem Pjanić, Senad Lulić, Vedad Ibišević, Edin Džeko

Projected Mexico team: Alfredo Talavera; Hector Moreno, Carlos Salcido, Diego Reyes; Miguel Ponce, Carlos Peña, Jose Vazquez, Hector Herrera, Miguel Layun; Raul Jimenez, Javier Hernandez

Miguel Herrera announced the starting XI he plans to use ahead of time, indicating that a few of the players who haven’t yet been given an opportunity to show what they can do will play in this game. Presumed third goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera is apparently in a legitimate competition to start, while the losses of Juan Carlos Medina and Luis Montes mean that Jose Vazquez could become a very important player. Raul Jimenez is also getting his first chance to shine, alongside ‘Chicharito’ Javier Hernandez.

Venue: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL

TV: ESPN2 (U.S. - English), Univision Deportes (U.S. - Spanish), TV Azteca 7 (Mexico), BHT 1 (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
