Chile face a young Northern Ireland side in their final friendly before the World Cup begins next week.

Jorge Sampaoli was pleased with his team's comeback victory over Egypt in their first friendly, but he'll likely be looking for his side to be a bit stronger against a lesser Northern Ireland squad. Arturo Vidal continues his recovery from knee surgery and will not play in the friendly, but Chile hope to get him fit for their World Cup opener against Australia.
Since Sampaoli is a bit of a serial tinkerer, fans will be interested to see exactly what type of team he deploys in this game. In Chile’s first warm-up friendly, he played a strike partnership of Eduardo Vargas and Alexis Sanchez in a 3-5-2 formation.
Northern Ireland still haven’t won a match in 2014, and only have one victory overall since Aug. 2011. A win over Chile would be a massive boost for Michael O’Neill’s young lineup, but their chances aren’t great.
