Brazil and the Netherlands both have adjusted starting lineups for their World Cup third-place playoff.

Seleção boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has rung the changes after his side's mauling against Germany, with Maxwell in at left-back and Willian, Ramires and Jô all coming into the starting 11 in attack. Paulinho returns to the midfield pivot, with Fernandinho left out.

For the Netherlands, only one change is made from their penalty shootout defeat to Argentina. Playmaker Jordy Clasie comes in for Nigel de Jong in midfield, though coach Louis van Gaal has placed an emphasis on continuity despite only third place being up for grabs in Brasília.

Update: Wesley Sneijder picked up a suspected hamstring injury in the warmup and has been replaced in the Dutch lineup by Jonathan de Guzmán.

Brazil starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Júlio César; Maxwell, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Maicon; Luiz Gustavo, Paulinho; Willian, Oscar, Ramires; Jô.

Netherlands starting lineup (3-4-1-2): Jasper Cillessen; Bruno Martins Indi, Ron Vlaar, Stefan de Vrij; Daley Blind, Jonathan de Guzmán, Jordy Clasie, Georginio Wijnaldum, Dirk Kuyt; Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie.
