No, the entire German team has not been ravaged by the flu
It’s okay, you can relax. Jogi Löw says everyone’s fine.

‘We’re constantly having to travel between different climate zones,’ said Löw. ‘It’s understandable that the guys get a bit under the weather, and that it starts to spread.’
Germany
Those comments spread around like wildfire, with many wondering if Germany were going to be seriously hindered by nearly a third of their team contracting flu-like symptoms. Because defender Mats Hummels had to sit out a game because of flu-like symptoms, a lot of people assumed the problem was serious.
But apparently, everyone managed to gloss over the part where Löw said ‘it’s not that bad at the moment. I don’t want to over-dramatise it.’ He also said that, while 7 players complained of some symptoms, none of them had a fever.
Unfortunately for France, they’re going to have to play a pretty healthy Germany team. That’s good news for the rest of us, who would like to see a competitive game.
