Olivier Giroud scores a spectacular goal in the Community Shield

This goal made it 3-0, Arsenal. The other two were excellent in their own right, but this one stands on its own as the clear best of the match so far.
Giroud was brought on as a halftime substitute, replacing Yaya Sanogo. Things weren’t going so well for Arsenal after their group of halftime changes, with Giroud struggling to get involved, but this should silence his critics for a while. That’s a spectacular looping finish, and perhaps his best in an Arsenal shirt.
