Real Madrid face off against fellow La Liga side Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup in Cardiff on Tuesday (2:45 p.m. ET, Fox). This annual event is a one-off match fought between the winners of the previous season's Champions League and Europa League, and after their great success in continental competition last season, it's an all-Spanish affair this time around.
Real Madrid vs. Sevilla live streaming: How to watch the 2014 UEFA Super Cup online
If you’re not near a TV for the UEFA Super Cup, never fear. There are plenty of live streaming options available.
Both of these sides have history in this competition, with Real Madrid winning their only Super Cup back in 2002, and Sevilla in 2006. However, they’ve both also been on the losing side, too. The trophy certainly isn’t the most prestigious, though both sides will no doubt be keen to cap their pre-season preparations with some bonus silverware. They won’t want to be beaten again.
Needless to say, it's Real Madrid who head into the match as favourites. With Colombia's World Cup star and Madrid's new summer signing James Rodríguez set to dazzle alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, it's going to be very difficult for Sevilla to stop them. What's more, this summer Sevilla lost their best player, Ivan Rakitić, to Barcelona.
Do you live in the USA? You can catch the game online through Fox Soccer 2Go and Fox Sports Go. If you're in the U.K., you can watch on both Sky Go and the ITV Player. There are listings available for other countries as well at Live Soccer TV.
