Paris Saint-Germain have suffered another massive injury blow, losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic for at least the duration of their game against Bastia. The striker was forced off with an injury just 15 minutes into the Ligue 1 match between the two clubs with the score tied at 0-0.

The striker picked up an injury early in PSG’s match against Bastia and had to leave the pitch.

Ibrahimovic suffered the injury while trying to turn away from a defender with the ball. He pulled up lame after a cutback attempt, grabbing his left side. He played on for a couple of minutes, but was eventually replaced by Ezequiel Lavezzi.
If Ibrahimovic is seriously injured, it might prevent PSG from doing any transfer business before the window closes. Both Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani have been linked to moves away from the Parc des Princes, but the club will be inclined to hold on to them if Ibrahimovic seems likely to miss any time.
This is the second serious injury a PSG starter has suffered in the last week. Defender Thiago Silva injured his hamstring in a friendly against Napoli earlier in the week and will miss significant time.
