Fourth-division German soccer is home to some hilarious goals

Christopher Bieber reinvents the concept of diving in the box.

Karina Hessland

This gem of a headed goal comes courtesy of Christopher Bieber (probably no relation) of the wonderfully-named German fourth division club Würzburger Kickers. The Kickers demolished Wacker Burghausen 4-0 in this Bavarian regional match and there was no doubting the game’s highlight (via Reddit):

Yep, that’s Bieber scoring. While lying down on the field. And not looking at the ball.

The goal is almost the exact opposite of Robin van Persie's magnificent leap as the Netherlands thrashed Spain in the World Cup, but is it any less spectacular? I think not. Come to think of it, Bieber's probably injured less, too.

Sign him up, Manchester United.
