Crystal Palace set to sign James McArthur
Crystal Palace are reportedly set to complete the signing of Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur.

The 26-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Scotland, was also subject to interest from Leicester City, though the Foxes dropped their interest after securing Argentine veteran Esteban Cambiasso on a free transfer from Inter Milan.
Palace’s previous most expensive signing was that of striker Dwight Gayle, who cost the Eagles £4.5m last summer.
McArthur would become Neil Warnock's second signing since taking charge of the Eagles from Tony Pulis, with the veteran manager having already bagged Wilfried Zaha on loan from Manchester United. They're also reportedly interested in bringing in Tottenham Hotspur defender Zeki Fryers before the deadline slams shut later on Monday.
Crystal Palace have picked up just one point from their opening three Premier League games. They’re expected to be in a big relegation scrap for the second consecutive season.
