Saphir Taider was at Southampton for just three weeks, but he's already been sent packing back to Inter Milan. The club terminated his loan agreement due to poor performance and attitude.
Southampton terminate Saphir Taider loan
This is bizarre.

Southampton didn’t pull any punches in their statement about Taider’s return to Italy. “Having failed to live up to the high levels of commitment expected of Southampton players, that arrangement has been cut short by the club,” the statement says.
The 22-year-old Algerian international was excellent for Bologna in his first couple of years in Serie A, leading to Inter Milan picking him up. He wasn't first choice for the Nerazzurri last season, but got a good deal of playing time and put in some impressive performances. Taider appeared to be a bit of a coup for Southampton, but apparently he came nowhere close to living up to their expectations.
Southampton aren't necessarily short on midfielders without Taider, but getting rid of him might mean that Jack Cork and Morgan Schneiderlin, who have been linked to moves away from St. Mary's, won't be going anywhere.
