Alessio Cerci has moved from Torino to Atletico Madrid, the Spanish club have confirmed.

The Italy winger signs on a three year-deal, which was announced on the La Liga outfit’s website, confirms that the 27-year-old has passed his medical and agreed terms to join the current Spanish Champions.

Cerci said: “Atleti is a team in continuous evolution that always wants to win, I am very proud to be here. I’m very happy for the great reception I’ve had. I hope that we have a successful season. Atlético has given me a great opportunity and I want to prove myself”.

Atletico sporting director Jose Luis Perez Caminero also spoke out on the move, saying that Cerci “will contribute speed, goals and he’s going to give us more alternatives in our attacking play.”

Cerci is one of the signings Atletico have made since their remarkable La Liga triumph last season as they look to bolster their attack in replacing Diego Costa.
