Saturday's early Premier League kickoff is not to be missed, as last season's champions visit the home of one of this season's contenders. Hosts Arsenal head in as outsiders, having drawn twice since winning their opening day fixture against Crystal Palace. However, Manchester City haven't been perfect so far either, and they come into this match on the back of defeat to Stoke City. Both teams will be hoping the international break has made them forget their slightly stuttering starts.

Saturday’s early Premier League kickoff is a big one, as Arsenal welcome reigning champions Manchester City to the Emirates.

Key player - Danny Welbeck (Arsenal)
In this match, all eyes will be on Danny Welbeck, who is set to make his Arsenal debut after completing a deadline day move from City’s Manchester rivals, United. The Red Devils’ boss Louis van Gaal said in midweek that Welbeck was sold as he had neither the record, nor the standard of the club’s other forwards. Welbeck will no doubt be out to prove him wrong with a goal or two against the Citizens.
Key matchup - Yaya Touré vs. Mikel Arteta
However, it's in midfield that this game will probably be won and lost. Arsenal's lack of a good holding midfielder is a problem that they still haven't addressed, and that will probably prove as costly against Manchester City as against anyone else in the Premier League. City's powerhouse Yaya Touré is the finest box-to-boxer in the entire league, and he should consistently get the better of Arsenal's deepest midfielder.
Arsenal injuries and suspensions
Out: Olivier Giroud (ankle), Serge Gnabry, Theo Walcott (knee). In doubt: Aaron Ramsey (ankle).
Manchester City injuries and suspensions
Out: None. In doubt: Pablo Zabaleta (knock), Stevan Jovetić (hamstring), Fernando (groin).
Arsenal will certainly be without attackers Olivier Giroud, Serge Gnabry and Theo Walcott, though the presence of Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sánchez up front means they should cope just fine. Rather more concerning is the potential absence of midfielder Aaron Ramsey, picked up an ankle injury on international duty. He faces a late fitness test ahead of this match.
Manchester City have three first-team injury concerns, with full-back Pablo Zabaleta, midfielder Fernando and in-form attacker Stevan Jovetić all in doubt.
