Tottenham Hotspur have hit a hot streak under Mauricio Pochettino over the last few weeks, with the Argentine having overseen four wins in their last five matches Premier League matches. They’re now up into fifth place in the table, one point ahead of North London rivals Arsenal, and two below Southampton in the final Champions League place.

Alan Pardew takes charge of his first league game as Crystal Palace manager on Saturday.

They'll want to keep that run going away at struggling Crystal Palace on Saturday, but the Eagles shouldn't make life easy. It's their first league match since Alan Pardew took over from Neil Warnock, and as such, one would expect them to be pretty fired up. Heading into the weekend, Palace are a point inside the relegation zone, having not won a game since November.
Key player - Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur)
Tottenham Hotspur's recent transfer dealings have come under much criticism, but there can be no denying that Franco Baldini struck gold in signing Christian Eriksen from Ajax a couple of seasons ago. The Danish attacking midfielder has adapted to the rigours of the Premier League with little fuss, and is now one of Spurs' key players. In the absence of holding midfielder Mile Jedinak, Palace could struggle to minimise his influence.
Key matchup - Palace’s wingers vs. Spurs’ full-backs
In Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, Tottenham have two full-backs who are pretty good at attacking, yet fairly inadequate when their team doesn't have the ball. Given how important Palace's wingers -- Wilfried Zaha and Jason Puncheon -- are in their quick counter-attacks, this could well prove to be a game-defining battle.
Crystal Palace injuries and suspensions

Tottenham Hotspur injuries and suspensions
Out: Nabil Bentaleb (international duty). In doubt: Ryan Mason (hamstring), Erik Lamela (calf).
Crystal Palace will certainly miss midfield enforcer Mile Jedinak, who, like winger Yannick Bolasie, is away on international duty. Target man Marouane Chamakh out injured, though James McArthur and Glenn Murray could return from respective problems. Spurs’ young midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is out on international duty, while first-team regulars Ryan Mason and Erik Lamela are doubts.
