Watch South Africa’s perfect looping volley

Purdy.

Hitting the ball on the volley is hard enough. And then there’s aiming it, hitting it hard and the rest of the stuff that makes an already difficult task nearly impossible.

Mandla Masango decided he didn’t want to deal with picking out a corner or ripping the ball, so he just decided to loop it. You know, perfectly over the goalkeeper then under the bar, like it’s not even harder to do that. Except it is harder. Way harder. And he pulled it off perfectly.

The Africa Cup of Nations group stage isn’t over yet so things can change, but this is your header in the clubhouse for goal of the tournament because DAMN.
