Arda Turan threw his shoe at the ref and didn’t get sent off

This is a whole new level of ridiculous slash amazing.

Arda Turan, like everyone on Atletico Madrid, is upset with the referees in their Copa Del Rey tie against Barcelona. It’s been a crazy match and with Atleti behind, it’s all the refs faults.

SO HE THREW HIS SHOE AT THE REF.

Is it dangerous? Maybe. Is it wise? No. Is it heroic? You’re goddamn right.

Arda Turan is a legend, even if his actual throw leaves something to be desired.

Anyone can glare at the ref. Anyone can yell at the ref. But not just anyone can throw a shoe at the ref. That’s incredible. AND HE GOT AWAY WITH IT.

The referee showed him a yellow for that. He didn’t even get sent off!

Build a damn statue of the man.
