Things have scarcely been better for the Chilean national team, who, after winning the Copa América on home soil in the summer, started their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 2-0 win at home to Brazil last week. They're without doubt South America's most in-form team, and they'll be looking to record a seventh straight win in all competitions away in Peru in their next qualifier on Tuesday.
Peru vs. Chile live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch World Cup qualifying online
Chile travel to Peru as strong favourites for their World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

Peru are a rather inconsistent and unpredictable team, capable of defeating CONMEBOL's smaller sides, but rarely causing a problem for the larger ones. On technical quality, they're nowhere near up to Chile's standard, and it's tough to envisage Peru picking up anything from this encounter. They started their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 2-0 defeat away to Colombia on Thursday.
Key player: Alexis Sánchez (Chile)
There’s no doubt that the poster boy for Chile’s recent success has been Arsenal winger Alexis Sánchez. The former Barcelona man is a joy to watch, with his blistering pace and glittering skill helping him to dominate opposition defenders. He’ll doubtless be the man on whom much of Peru’s pre-match preparation is focused, though it’s hard to see them stopping him.
Recent history
Chile have rather enjoyed playing Peru of late. They’ve won all but one of their meetings over the last decade, with Peru’s sole victory coming in Lima in a qualifier for the last World Cup. That game ended 1-0, with an 87th minute strike from Jefferson Farfán the only difference between the two teams. Peru repeating the feat seems unlikely, but not impossible.
