Bayern Munich vs. Werder Bremen 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Bayern Munich are fully expected to add three points to their Bundesliga tally when they visit Bremen on Saturday.

Bayern Munich should continue their red-hot streak when they travel to Werder Bremen on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's side have won every single competitive game they've played so far this season, and any thought that Borussia Dortmund could offer them a serious fight for the Bundesliga was blown out of the water when the Bavarians smashed them 5-1 before the international break. They're already seven points clear at the top, and look just about unstoppable.

The next team tasked to do the impossible is Werder Bremen, who have had a fairly miserable start to the season. Four straight Bundesliga defeats have left them just two points and as many places above the relegation zone, as well as heaped the pressure on coach Viktor Skrypnyk. It’s hard to see them picking up any points at home to Bayern in this encounter.

Key player: Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)

Robert Lewandowski is without question the most in-form striker on the planet at the moment. He's scored 19 goals in his last 10 games for club and country, with the highlight being a five-goal haul in Bayern's smashing of Wolfsburg last month. It has often been suggested that Pep Guardiola's not keen on pure strikers, but he's certainly getting the best out of Lewandowski at present.

Recent history

The recent history between these sides certainly doesn’t make for pretty reading for Werder Bremen. In fact, it makes for grotesquely ugly reading. They’ve consistently been on the end of Bayern Munich shellackings in recent times, and have lost the last five games by a combined aggregate scoreline of 28-3. You’ve got to go all the way back to 2008 for the last time Werder Bremen beat their Bavarian opponents: on that occasion a Mesut Özil masterclass helped Werder Bremen to a surprise 5-2 win against a side then coached by Jürgen Klinsmann.

Werder Bremen injuries and suspensions

Out: Raphael Wolf (hip); Özkan Yıldırım (knee). In doubt: Aron Jóhannsson (adductor).

Bayern Munich injuries and suspensions

Out: Holger Badstuber, Sebastian Rode (thigh); Jan Kirchhoff (Achilles); Franck Ribéry (ankle); Medhi Benatia (hamstring); Mario Götze (adductor). In doubt: Arturo Vidal (knee); Juan Bernat (adductor); Kingsley Coman (unspecified muscle); Arjen Robben (thigh).

Werder Bremen will be without goalkeeper Raphael Wolf and playmaker Özkan Yıldırım, while USMNT striker Aron Jóhannsson is also unlikely to be fit enough to play.

However, it’s Bayern with the real injury problems: they’ve got 10 players either unavailable or doubtful, with the likes of Mario Götze, Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman the latest to be added to their injury list.
