The draw has been made for the final round of Euro 2016 qualifying: the playoffs. At this stage, the third-placed teams from every qualifying group (with the exception of the highest-ranked of them all, Turkey, who have already booked their place in France) are drawn from a pot and handed a two-legged tie. The winner after both games have been played is the team that advances to the tournament proper.
Euro 2016 qualifying playoffs draw: Bosnia draw Ireland, Sweden face rivals Denmark
This is where qualification really gets exciting.

Ukraine will face off against Slovenia, while Sweden will go head-to-head with their Scandinavian neighbours Denmark. The latter have history in this tournament, having won it against the odds in Sweden back in 1992. They've fallen on rather harder times, and now just making it to France would be no mean feat. Even so, expect most neutrals to be rooting for Sweden ahead of what could be Zlatan Ibrahimović's final major tournament.
However, most of the Anglophone media will be focusing on the third fixture out of the hat: the Republic of Ireland's meeting with Bosnia & Herzegovina. Martin O'Neill's side impressed by beating Germany over the recent international break, though a team with Miralem Pjanić and Edin Džeko in it certainly isn't going to roll over.
The final game sees Norway go head-to-head with Hungary; the latter looking to qualify for the first time since reaching the semifinals in 1972, the former since their one and only appearance at the European Championships in Belgium and the Netherlands at the turn of the millennium.
The exact dates for the fixtures should be announced later on Sunday. For the time being, we know only that the first legs will be played between Nov. 12-14, with the second legs played some time between Nov. 15-17.
