The Premier League continues to entertain, with none of Saturday’s games ending scoreless and all but one featuring two or more goals. In all, there were 23 goals from seven games, and three of them were scored by Southampton, who handed Chelsea yet another loss. The Blues have conceded 17 this year, tied for second-worst in the league. Manchester City, meanwhile, laid a beating on Newcastle and are now top of the table.
Someone, please, explain why Chelsea are so bad

Sunderland fell apart, but there’s no time for moping
The Black Cats threw away a two-goal lead, while goalscorer Jermain Lens was sent off in what was expected to be manager Dick Advocaat’s last game. And amazingly, Sunderland fans are staying optimistic.

We’re out of words or explanations for Chelsea
They just fell apart against Southampton, and in a way previously thought impossible under Jose Mourinho.

Between this loss, leaks coming out of the locker room and the current employment status of Jürgen Klopp, Jose really might not make it to Christmas. Chelsea walked to the title last year, and they were expected to win it again this year. But they’re a mess.
