A.C. Milan vs. Napoli 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Two of Serie A’s most inconsistent sides go head-to-head in Milan on Sunday.

At AC Milan, the coaches change and the results stay the same. Over the summer they replaced Filippo Inzaghi with Siniša Mihajlović, though not even the experience of the former Sampdoria boss has managed to shake the rossoneri from their frustrating inconsistency. His side have picked up just nine points from their opening six games, and a failure to pick up points from their tough match at home to Napoli on Sunday would force a re-evaluation of their start from 'mediocre' to 'poor.'

However, they should be confident in their chances to pick up a point or three, given that Napoli have fared no better since Maurizio Sarri replaced Rafael Benítez in the summer. The former Empoli man has masterminded wins over Juventus and Lazio in the last few weeks, but disappointing draws against his old club and Carpi mean they sit level on points with Milan in the Serie A table. It's anyone's guess who will emerge from this game successful.

Key matchup: Lorenzo Insigne vs. Davide Calabria

One of the bright spots in Napoli's patchy start has been Lorenzo Insigne, who has bounced back to his best form from a serious injury. He's caused all sorts of problems cutting inside off the left flank, and will be licking his lips at the prospect of going up against AC Milan's fresh-faced right back Davide Calabria (the 18-year-old will likely debut in the absence of the injured Ignazio Abate).

Recent history

AC Milan won 2-0 when these sides last met at the San Siro, but otherwise it’s Napoli who have tended to have the upper hand. The Campanian side have emerged from three of the last four clashes victorious, and won 3-0 when these sides last met at the end of last season. However, don’t let the scoreline fool you: it was a close game with all of the goals scored inside the final 20 minutes. This game should be one of pretty fine margins, too.

AC Milan injuries and suspensions

Out: Jérémy Ménez (back); M'Baye Niang (foot); Ignazio Abate (unspecified); Philippe Mexès (knee); Alessio Romagnoli (suspended). In doubt: None.

Napoli injuries and suspensions

Out: None. In doubt: None.

AC Milan have a few injury problems on defense, with Alessio Romagnoli suspended and Philippe Mexès and Ignazio Abate injured. That should mean a rather young back line, with Mattia De Sciglio, Rodrigo Ely and Davide Calabria all likely to start alongside Cristián Zapata. Attackers Jérémy Ménez and M'Baye Niang are also out.

Napoli, by contrast, have a fully fit team to choose from.
