Gonzalo Higuain sets up Ezequiel Lavezzi goal for Argentina vs. Brazil
Ezequiel Lavezzi got the goal, but Gonzalo Higuain’s work to set it up was the real eye opener.

Lavezzi’s finish was excellent, but that pass from Higuain was absolutely phenomenal. He put it exactly where it needed to go to meet Lavezzi’s run, and made sure enough pace on it to beat the desperate run from David Luiz so the defender couldn’t intercept the pass.
Before that goal, Argentina hadn't scored in a competitive match since June 30, when Higuain scored late in a 6-1 Copa America semifinal win over Paraguay.
Since then, they went 120 minutes in the Copa America final and their first two World Cup qualifiers without scoring in a match that counts. Seeing that ball hit the back of the net was a huge relief for Albiceleste fans.
