Crew vs. Impact 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch MLS playoffs online

The Crew trail, but they have an away goal.

Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

Montreal Impact and Columbus Crew SC didn’t come close to settling anything in the first leg of their playoff tie. They played out a perfect result to set up a dramatic second leg, with Montreal winning 2-1 at home. They’ll be happy to head to Columbus with a lead, but the Crew are in a decent position with an away goal, and will advance if they win 1-0.

Federico Higuaín stunned the Impact early in the first leg, but they fought back, with Patrice Bernier and Johan Venegas scoring goals to give Montreal the win.

The most notable moment of the first match was when Drogba shockingly grabbed the leg of Steve Clark. The referee deemed it unsporting, but not violent, and Drogba only got a yellow card.

Key player -- Didier Drogba

Didier Drogba didn’t rack up a goal or assist in the first leg, but made himself a menace in ways both fair and unfair. He was his usual self -- a physical presence that regularly drew two defenders, with a little bit of cheating mixed in. But while he was very present in many ways, Montreal would probably like him to get directly involved in a goal.

Key matchup -- Montreal’s fullbacks vs. Crew SC’s wingers

Kei Kamara was the Crew’s top scorer, but Ethan Finlay and Justin Meram were just as big of a part of their success. They’re just as good at finishing as setting up goals, and they make life difficult for fullbacks with their ability to take the ball wide and cross or cut in and shoot.
