What to watch in the Premier League this weekend

There’s several great matches to watch this weekend in England, and we picked the best for you.

The Premier League always has must-watch action, and this weekend is no exception. With the top of the table still very closely knotted up and the middle third of the table just as close, there’s a lot to play for all throughout the league. We could see some pretty wild swings in table positioning this weekend, and the matches should be plenty exciting as everyone slugs it out to try to gain the upper hand on one another.

Best Saturday match: Manchester City vs. Swansea City

Manchester City are a win and a little luck in other results from being back in first place, and they have to feel good about their chances of getting that much-needed win against a reeling Swansea side that just fired their manager. Of course, right after a change in manager can be a dangerous time to face a team, so Manchester will need to make sure to be at their best and not let their guard down.

Best Sunday match: Liverpool vs. West Bromwich Albion

Liverpool are still reeling from a disappointing loss to Newcastle last weekend, and now have to face a long-time bogey manager in Tony Pulis and his West Bromwich Albion team. Jurgen Klopp and company will need to be much more focused and driven in this match if they want to get the win they need to get back on track.

Bonus Monday match: Leicester City vs. Chelsea

Who would have guessed four months ago that this match would be a battle between the first place team in the EPL and a team two points above the relegation zone? Well, OK, you probably would have guessed that -- but you wouldn’t have guessed that it was Leicester leading the league and Chelsea trying to pull clear of the relegation zone. The Blues need a win in a bad way right now after winning just one of their last five matches in the league, but the Foxes will be just as eager to try to extend their currently-narrow two point lead atop the table. This won’t be an easy match at all.
