Bayern Munich vs. Ingolstadt 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Bundesliga online

Pep Guardiola’s Bayern will look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Gladbach when they host Ingolstadt on Saturday.

The Bundesliga title race momentarily flickered back to life after Bayern Munich suffered their first defeat of the season away at Borussia Mönchengladbach last weekend, but it's difficult to envision Pep Guardiola's side slipping up for the second game in a row. They play host to mid-table Ingolstadt on Saturday, and will hope to extend their five-point lead over Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table. You'd be brave to bet against them holding up their end of the bargain.

Ingolstadt have made an impressive start to life in the Bundesliga, having won a historic promotion to the German top flight last year: They currently sit in a relatively comfortable mid-table spot, with coach Ralph Hasenhüttl achieving a lot with a little. Bayern alone have conceded fewer goals so far this season. However, Ingolstadt have only won one of their last seven games, and it’s going to be nigh-on impossible for them to resist the might of their Bavarian rivals.

Key player: Thomas Müller (Bayern Munich)

When it comes to breaking down deep defenses, there's theoretically few better than Bayern Munich's Thomas Müller. The German attacker can seemingly find space where none exists, popping up in and around the penalty area and leaving defenders playing just about the hardest game of whack-a-mole that you can imagine. He scored on the one and only previous occasion these sides met; don't be surprised if he hits the back of the net again on Saturday.

When they last met: Bayern Munich 6-0 Ingolstadt, Oct. 26, 2011

Given that Ingolstadt were only founded in 2004, it's not all that surprising that these sides have only met once before. It came in the 2011 DFB-Pokal, with Bayern crushing the then-second tier outfit 6-0 at the Allianz Arena. That's despite coach Jupp Heynckes fielding a rather weakened team: Among the scorers that day were Nils Petersen, now of Freiburg; and Takashi Usami, who returned to Japan after a couple of years in Germany.

Bayern Munich injuries and suspensions

Out: Medhi Benatia, Juan Bernat, Douglas Costa, Arjen Robben (muscle); David Alaba (knee); Mario Götze (adductor). In doubt: None.

Ingolstadt injuries and suspensions

Out: Danilo Soares (toe); Markus Suttner (foot); Konstantin Engel (hip); Alfredo Morales (suspended). In doubt: Benjamin Hübner (knock).

Both of these sides have a handful of injury problems, with on-form attacker Costa the latest addition to Bayern’s physio table.

Ingolstadt will hope to have Hübner back after he picked up a knock in their last match, though American international Morales will certainly be unavailable through suspension.

Match date/time: Saturday, 9:30 a.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. local

Venue: Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany

TV: FOX Sports 1 (US); Sportsnet World (Canada)
