Napoli vs. Roma 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Serie A online

Two Serie A title contenders face off at the Stadio San Paolo Sunday, with Napoli playing host to AS Roma. These sides are separated by just a place and three points in the league table, with the Neapolitans currently having the edge. However, Maurizio Sarri's men head into this match on the back of a stunning defeat away at struggling Bologna last weekend, which will doubtless give their visitors hope of moving level with Napoli in the table.

Then again, Roma haven't been in great form themselves lately. Pressure continues to mount on coach Rudi Garcia, whose side have gone five games without a win in all competitions. It's a run that has seen them squeeze into the Champions League knockouts by the skin of their teeth, while closer to home they've fallen five points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan. They need to start picking up victories soon if they're to stand any chance of competing.

Key player: Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli)

Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain is currently enjoying his best season at Napoli to date, and is already four goals clear at the top of the Serie A scoring charts. Thriving on the service of two of the best wingers in Serie A in Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne, he seemingly can't stop scoring. He's the man Roma's young defence will be most worried about facing.

Recent history

Meetings between Napoli and Roma have been fascinatingly well-balanced in recent times. On each of the last eight matches, stretching back to January 2013, the home side has always emerged victorious. One has to go back to 2011 for the last time Roma won away at the San Paolo, when Luis Enrique’s side defeated Walter Mazzarri’s 3-1. That season, Napoli went on to finish fifth; Roma came home in a rather disappointing seventh.

Napoli injuries and suspensions

Out: Manolo Gabbiadini (injured). In doubt: None.

AS Roma injuries and suspensions

Out: Francesco Totti, Vasilis Torosidis, Elio Capradossi, Ezequiel Ponce, Abdullahi Nura (injured). In doubt: None.

With the exception of attacker Gabbiadini, Napoli should have a full-strength team to choose from. Roma’s injury list is a little longer, though they’re not missing any key first-teamers.
