Juventus are soaring up the Serie A table in recent weeks, climbing from nearly the relegation zone all the way up into fourth place thanks to a six match winning streak and wins in eight of their last ten league matches. Another win this weekend could put them right back into the thick of the title chase -- but that also puts a degree of pressure not really on Juventus since they were first declared “out of it” two months ago.
Juventus vs. Carpi 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Serie A online
Carpi just got a huge upset in the Coppa Italia, but facing a confident Juventus side is another matter entirely.

Now they must face Carpi, a team who just earned something of a shock upset over Roma in the Coppa Italia this past week. That doesn’t help them in the league of course -- they’re still firmly ensconced as the 19th place team in Serie A -- but the extra boost of confidence can be huge for a match like this, especially when they’re further buoyed by their exuberant fans at home. They’re still going to have to put on a hell of a match to win -- against Juventus, that’s a given -- but Carpi have shown already this season that they can play extremely well at times, and they cannot be taken too lightly.
Key player -- Paulo Dybala (Juventus)
Dybala is in full-on “do no wrong” mode at the moment, on a good scoring run with five goals in his last eight matches. His value is more than that, though, as he’s proved a deft hand at helping set up attacks as well, linking passes to help switch directions in Juventus’ probes in to the box and using his runs to create spaces for his teammates. Dybala’s qualities are on full and tremendous display with Juventus, and both he and his teammates are bringing the best out of each other because of it.
Key matchup -- Luca Marrone (Carpi) vs. Claudio Marchisio (Juventus)
Marrone’s long time knowledge of Juventus’ players and tactics -- including his time spent under Max Allegri last season -- will be invaluable for Carpi in this match as they try to find and exploit any potential weaknesses in the Old Lady’s team, especially in midfield. That means that Marchisio in his role as the maestro and shot-caller of Juventus’ midfield will be more vital than ever, working to keep things unpredictable, or to disguise a different approach behind one that Marrone would recognize and help Carpi react to. This is going to be a chess game, and a fun one at that.
