Neymar injured in Barcelona training, no timetable for return

He’ll likely miss their Champions League match with Bayer Leverkusen.

Barcelona striker Neymar has suffered a "minor injury in the abductor of the left leg," the team announced Tuesday. By the look of things, they don't anticipate that it'll keep him sidelined for too long, but the Brazilian presumably won't feature in the team's Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday as a result.

The news comes as less of a blow now that the La Liga leaders have a certain Lionel Messi back from an injury layoff, though it's still a disappointment for Luis Enrique's side. For the first time this season Neymar has looked capable of competing with the world's very best players and sits top of the Spanish scoring charts with 14 goals in his first 13 league games. They'll be hoping to have him back as quickly as possible.
