Liverpool vs. Tottenham Hotspur live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch the EPL online

The pick of Tuesday’s Premier League action sees Liverpool welcome in-form Spurs to Anfield.

Liverpool will look to bounce back from the weekend's dismally goalless Merseyside derby with a victory at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday, though with Mauricio Pochettino's side currently flying high in the Premier League table, it won't be easy. Indeed, Spurs will head into this game in high spirits after coming from behind to win the North London derby against Arsenal on the weekend; a victory that moves them into fifth place, four points above Liverpool.

However, Liverpool's early season struggles were in no small part down to a long-term injury suffered by star striker Daniel Sturridge. That, coupled with the consistent underperforming of Mario Balotelli, meant Brendan Rodgers' side struggled in attack. Now though, Sturridge is getting back to full fitness, and should spearhead Liverpool's attack against Tottenham. The only question is whether they're strong enough at the back to withstand Spurs' impressive attacking unit.

Key player - Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Spurs’ young striker Harry Kane continued his prolific season by netting both of their goals in their North London derby win on the weekend. He’s been something of a late bloomer, but is now looking like a seriously hot talent. He’s almost certainly the first name on Pochettino’s teamsheet, and he’ll be on hand to capitalise on any mistakes Liverpool make at the back.

Key matchup - The wide battle

Spurs' wingers play a big role in Pochettino's 4-2-3-1, with Erik Lamela and Nacer Chadli having both enjoyed breakthrough seasons after initially struggling to establish themselves in the Premier League. They'll be up against two dynamic wing-backs in Alberto Moreno and Lazar Marković, though both of those players are more adept at attacking than defending. The wide battle could be decisive.

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Brad Jones, Lucas Leiva (thigh), Jon Flanagan (knee), Kolo Touré (international duty). In doubt: Philippe Coutinho (knee), Raheem Sterling (foot), Adam Lallana (groin).

Tottenham Hotspur injuries and suspensions

Out: None. In doubt: None.

Liverpool will be without a handful of players, with the most important being midfielder Lucas Leiva. Adam Lallana could miss out again with a thigh injury, though exciting attackers Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling will likely recover from their respective problems in time to be involved. Spurs, meanwhile, have a full-strength team available.

TV: NBCSN (U.S.), Sportsnet (Canada), BT Sport 1 (U.K.)
