Spotted: The rare and exotic circular red card

Neil Danns was shown a second yellow in Bolton’s FA Cup clash with Liverpool. With Bolton 1-0 up and on the verge of sending the Reds out, that was pretty notable, but it paled in comparison to what was coming next.

The referee pulled out his red card AND IT WAS A CIRCLE.

We have seen the future, and the future is circular red cards that look like salami.
